All ready for the sports day that didn't happen. Hope it doesn't rain next week....

1 week until Jodie Alice's 4th birthday and shw decided it was time to try her school 'pinaform' on for the first time.

Been to Ipswich for the weekend to see my big brother and his family. The wendy house now has a trapdoor and stairs down to a cellar!!

Quite frankly - this is mad in the head - it's heated and MASSIVE - and very good fun!

I had never seen this SLB - it lives at Central station and is mighty fine.

A tardy post from last night (and not very clear) but this man was brilliant. As my Dad once said of Alice Joan Tilley 'I could have listened to his voice all night'.........

Followed by lunch at the traffic cenntre with Tracey, Josh and Nathan. Lovely lunch but a tragic lack of time to exploit the 1/2 price sale at coast. i did however buy some sparkly flip flops with heels - just to confuse there is one at the top of the post.

And this my friends is a very happy Ian with his very smart sailing wellies on. But can you guess who was drinking from the cup in the background..........

I love the fact that Jo casually said - we could get the water slide out and 10 minutes later this monster arrived - what marvellous fun for 5 small people

I have had a brilliant Friday after a poo week at work

Jodie and I were very suprised to bump into Ken Dodd and some old woman at Lime Street this morning - ever so slightly random......

Jodie then ran through the fountain in the square place (cath did tell me what it was called - but i obviously can't remember the name)

Next - more snail hunting (thank you AJT) and the discovery of a really big Frog (who had the sense to run away before the small collier girls got hold of him.

We had lunch by the fountain in a sqaure place that i still can't remember the name of even though Cath told me about 2 hours ago and amazingly - Jodie only came out of the fountain slightly wet.

While i waste much of my life virtual farming - Becca is putting me to shame with her sunflower. I think it needs potting out soon........ (ps - that's billy bear the class bear in the background)

A day spent at Knowsely (or Museli as Becca thinks it's called) Safari Park - with lots of smiles and a lot of fun with my top girls.

Jodie Alice completely freaked when the cheeky monkeys attacked the car - and the monkey willies casued many giggles.

Lovely weekend - went to birmingham to see the Haggis Horns (who were brilliant) with lovely people. It was very strange to wake up on my own and I have missed the girls and Ian a lot. Nice to be away - and very very nice to be home. Hope Becca forgives me soon!

Before I escaped on my road trip we went to see becca and jodie alice get their first ever ballet medals. A somewhat gruelling event - but secretly v proud mummy moment.........here are their certificates and medals.
