A very lovely weekend. Casino Royale at the club was brilliant and the company was superb. No pics - but i was very pleased with the way AJts hair turned out.
Today was busy - on a train at 8.30 to head off to Manchester to do a 10k with very sore feet (from wearing silly girl shoes last night) and a big hangover. I felt sick for the first 3k , needed the loo from about 5k onwards but really enjoyed it and did 54mins - which i was very pleased with. Bring on the half next year....
Here is my medal

Ian and the girls did fab waving at half way and we then met up in rusholme for a curry lunch. I miss Manchester alos and It was lovely to see the University and Whitworth Park - I even caught a glimpse of Jabez Clegg - so many memories!

Ian had to scoot off to the airport to fly to germany with work and we met up with my pals from work katie and tom - who had also run the 10k (tom did 49mins - WOWzers) and we had beers and a lovely time. It was the first time becca had met Tom and she has fallen in love big time!!!! Jodie and katie coleman got on like a house on fire as usual! TOP WEEKEND - lovely friends - lucky me......

Busy Sunday
We headed off to town on the train which is always a treat for these two.
I am still blown away every time I see this - it is a brilliant example of something that is just for the sake of it - love it.

On the suggestion of Cath (or was it Alice - not sure!) we spent a few hours in the Tate. Our favourute bit was a room full of sculptures where you put on a pair of haeadphones and some funky tunes were playing as you wander round. One of the exhibits was a Saturday Night Fever danclefloor - complete with colour changing squares - where you could get down and boogie! And boy did we boogie.......
The day finished with some real farming (finally planted the potatoes) and some serious snail hunting.

Picture catchup
How big does this thing look outside our house - it's possibly the best thing we have ever bought (next to the last one we bought....) and is truely a home away from home. So nice to be in the outside.
